Tracción y Minería, S.A. possesses the technology and the official certificates to manufacture locomotives required to operate in potentially explosive enviroments (mines with firedamp gas). For metallic mining, locomotives without a firedamp protection mode are supplied.

Several different models are produced, the largest being the T80 model. For greater capacities it is possible to construct the locomotives in tandem, that is, two locomotives coupled together and conducted by a single operator.

The locomotives feature the best state-of-the-art technology, electronic speed control, mechanical parking brake, hydraulic service brake, electrical emergency stop, double diode-LED lighting, acoustic signalling, rubber shock absorbers, bumpers provided with rubber shock absorbers, etc.

In addition to locomotives, other devices are constructed, used in loaders and yumbos, as Switch of level and temperature for hydraulic tanks, emergency stops, switches with two or three push-buttons, etc.
